Deodorant isn't working!

Someone please tell me I'm not alone here...

Ever since I gave birth, my armpits have smelled much stronger no matter how many times I shower and put on deodorant.  It's the worst by the end of the day.  I never had this problem before...is it hormones?

If you have the same issue, what are you using to control it?

I thought I was alone out here with this problem!!!   So glad to hear I'm not.  I think it's really bad at first.  Now I don't notice it as much.  I did switch from using Suave to using Secret, but it could just be a coincidence.  I'm sure it's hormone related.

I feel your pain...or should I say smell .  I have been having to reapply multiple times during the day. And now that my mom is gone and DH is back to work, 2 showers a day seems impossible....one a day is close to impossible some days lol. I might have to go back to using Mitchum, or at least some brand of clinical strength until my hormones are back in check.

SO glad I'm not the only one!  I was just googling this and found an article that says increased body odor after pregnancy is normal and it's a distinct smell for your LO.  It's so they can recognize you.  That is actually cool but it's still pretty gross!

Have you tried mens deoderant?  Its done wonders for me!

No, I haven't tried it.  I'll have to snag DH's one morning and see if it makes a difference.  Thanks!

mine did but it has gotten better...i am back to not using it daily bc of skin issues with no stink

Great...I can just see LO in nursery school, when her friends ask which one is her mom, and she tells them the one who stinks lol.

Haha.. I thought it was just because i rarely get to shower at first! now i put my deo on right after my shower, even at night. i use dove and its working pretty good.

Try the clinical stuff...works pretty good!

Thanks for all the suggestions ladies.  One of these is bound to work better than Lady Speed Stick!

I had that problem through my whole entire pregnancy. I use the Clinical Strength, there are a few brands that have it. But it held for me all day.
