Your response depends on what your antral follicle count is, info here. Less better quality eggs trump more poor quality eggs.

3 is the minimum at my clinic; 10-12 is average; something like 60 was their max!

300 Gonal-f + 150 Menopur. Honestly, it depends on your dx, your age, your hormone levels; there is no point comparing yourself to just anyone.

I've seen such varying dosages on this board.  I've seen up to 400+ of follistim, while I only take 150 units.  It really varies upon your own situation.  My office requires a minimum of 4 mature follies for ER.  I had 11 mature eggs retrieved on my last IVF.

It really depends.  There is SUCH a wide variety, and you're really best not comparing.  I know that's hard, but it's really true. Comparisons will only make you crazy. 

 

FWIW I was on 150 follistim and 2 vials of menopur. I got 9 eggs, all mature, 7 fertilized, 4 made it to day 5, transferred 2, 1 of the remaining pair was good enough to freeze.

I was pretty upset only getting 9 because I saw so many people get so many more eggs, so please take it from me and don't compare.  Comparing led to tears and a LOT of worry for me, all for naught b/c we got our BFP.  Some ladies are super fortunate and get tons of eggs, but if you don't, DO NOT PANIC.

I am starting 225 IU's of Follistim and 150 IU's of Menopur on Monday.  My doc said that he usually gets around 10-15 good eggs from women my age that use that dosage.

Like other poster said, you can't really compare. I was on 400 Follistim and 400 Menopur and only produced 4 follicles.
