I have this really weird hang up right now

I think 2-piece infant/toddler swim suits are cute but for some reason I feel weird about putting DD in one.  Like I am dressing her to "provocatively".  Technically she has a 2 piece but it is a shirt and bottoms. There is a really cute on on clearance at BRU that I can get her for next year but I feel weird doing it.  I even had a bikini when I was 5.  What is wrong with me.

  • I feel this exact same way!  Sarah never had any sort of 2-piece until this summer.  But now that she's fully potty trained, it's very helpful to have her in a little tankini.

I broke down and ordered this two-piece from Ruffle Butts because it was so adorable.  Elizabeth has worn it several times now and it's super cute.  But it took me several weeks to work up the courage to have her wear it.  I think I'm a 2-piece bathing suit convert now!

  • Marion has two pieces, but they're the rash guard types with sleeves and full belly coverage.  I wish more places sold just the shirts for girls because I'd love to get some of those cute bottoms Kay posted!  Mar just can't have much skin exposed because of sunburn.
  • Are there any good places to buy just the bottoms?  I found several cute rash guard tops but no bottoms.  If I was sure DD would still be in a swim diaper that would work but she probably won't be.

I totally see the practicality of the 2 piece when it comes to going to the bathroom.

  • I've found cute swim bottoms at this place called FINS where Sarah takes swimming lessons.  They are designed with the non-potty-trained child in mind.  We used them last summer when Sarah was still working on potty training.  I looked online and saw these.  Would they work for you?

ETA:  oops, sorry!  I think I fixed the clicky link.
