I know a lot of us on this board have had pretty rough weeks this week. So I thought we should try to share some good stuff!
Tell me something you are excited about or something that made you happy this week.
Mine: Even though I did not pay the extra $15 for express shipping to be delivered by today and only used Super Saver Shipping, Amazon tracking indicates my order will be delivered today! Sometimes the little things just make it better.
Also, I'm excited to go see Eclipse tomorrow. I'm such a nerd.
Re: Tell me something good....
My goal this summer break is to read a book a week, and so far I'm hitting my mark. I'll start book #4 this weekend. (I've read Tori Spelling's second book, The Glass Castle, and The Help. I'm trying to decide whether to read Catching Fire or The Ask and the Answer next.)
Also, it's my birthday weekend which is always fun with bbq's and spending time with family and friends.
3 IUI's, 2 IVF's , 1 FET , 1 IVF w/ Gestational Carrier, and 1 FET using adopted embryo's = ALL BFNs
We are adopting!
SAIF/PAIF IS ALWAYS WELCOMED TO POST IN MY POSTS!!!
Today I can leave 2 hours earlier than expected !!!
And I can't wait to see Eclipse, but I need to wait for the crowds to subside. Have fun!
Started TTC 05.08
Me: Stage II endo, borderline high FSH
DH: perfect
1 lap, 5 IUIs = 4 BFNs and 1 c/p
2 IVFs, 2 FETs = 1 BFN, 1 c/p, 1 ectopic and finally a sticky BFP in May 2011!
1 FET in Aug 2013 = BFP!
You know what is good? Having no plans! DH and I are totally open to anything this weekend, as long as it involves sun, beer, and friends.
And I am also super excited to see Eclipse... only I will also wait it out until the madness decreases.
And now I have the "Tell Me Something Good" song stuck in my head...

I'm happy for a 4 day weekend, and for the pretty weather.
I'm excited for my new phone and although it's on back order it should be here in a few weeks.
These are great! Keep em' coming!
KED- HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Hope you have fun birthday times!
And for the other ladies waiting to see Eclipse, I'm going to an early morning showing in the hopes that all girls age 11-19 will still be sleeping in! :-)
I'm happy that I won't have to do any work over the weekend.
And tomorrow is the 5th anniversary of my first date with DH. We are going out to dinner to do a tasting menu, which we love to do, but haven't done since May 2009.
I decided to read more this year starting in March. So far, I have read 20 books. I can't wait for Mockingjay to come out in August. And I will be starting The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest.
DH got a huge pay increase - 53%! It makes being OOP more bearable.
We get a free half day off work today so get to leave at noon AND I'm off all next week for vacation, well actually a "clean-cation" to straighten up for our home study. I've been lurking on babies 0-3 months recently and am going to the library today to get some books, it gets me even more excited for the adoption and hopefully more prepared for those first few & potentially hard, months.
FET #1 Dec 2013 BFN
FET # 2 Feb 2014 BFN
No more frosties
IVF #2. September 2014
PGD yielded 2 perfect 5d blasts
SET November 9, 2014
Nov 23, 2014. Another BFN
Not sure where to go from here.
I'm happy that even though dh has to work this weekend (only half days on Sat & Sun) we're going to be able to spend time at the beach and just doing things on our own with no rushing around and being on a forced schedule! So happy!
And I plan on doing pretty much nothing. I have a box of yarn I need to hide from DH and to make sure I have everything I need for the projects.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KED!!!
And I too have the song in my head now - and I only know this single line!!
Thank you IVF for our little miracles!!
