Sleeping Progress!! WAHOO!!

After weeks and months and what seems like forever...we are FINALLY making progress.  I met a friend for coffee last night and when I asked DH how it was going, he said Eirik didn't even cry when he laid him down for bed time.  He then woke up at 1:30, I nursed for a bit and then rocked him back to sleep and was able to lay him down without him fussing at all.  He woke up again later, not sure what time because I was really asleep when I just went, got him, and brought him back to bed.  Then today so far as been pretty good too. We've only had his first nap so far, but he only fussed for maybe a minute or two and then went to sleep.  YAY!  Keeping our fingers crossed that this is finally the beginning to better sleep for everyone!

Yay!  I hope it keeps going well!  I also have a baby who will not sleep without a fight, and wakes multiple times a night.  I hope this changes over time- sooner rather than later.

I have to say that as frustrated as I have been through all of this, it just seems like its happen more when he was finally ready. I just couldn't understand why Aodhan was STTN and in his own crib at 6 months, while we've had such a hard time with Eirik.  I know all babies are different but it was just driving me crazy.  I am come to terms that he just wasn't ready....now it finally seems we have reached that stage...so lets hope it sticks. 

 Hope your LO sleeps for you soon too.  It was a long road for us to get here, but now he is 10 months and everything finally seems to be working.
