Rash on eyebrows = cradle cap?

She has a dry yellowish kind of flakes off when you touch it rash on her eyebrows only.. I read online its probably cradle cap..I've been putting lotion on it. Mom said Vaseline but I'd have to get some.. you bag-balm work? It has petroleum and lanolin.

How do you get rid of it? Anyone familiar with it in just this area?

DS had this and I believe it is cradle cap.  His wasn't too bad...I was able to sort of scrape it off with my fingernail and a wet wash cloth.  It didn't bother him at all.

  • My DD had this and we were told to use Eucerine Auquafor and it helped tons! It's kind of the same consistency of vaseline but it's medicated and is good for cradle cap and exzema
  • Thank you ladies! Where do you get auquafor? Any drugstore cvs walgreens etc?
  • Sounds just like the cradle cap DS has on his head.  I have the adult version of cradle cap and I do sometimes get flaky eyebrows.

  • DS had it just on his eyebrows at first, and now it's moved up to the top of his head. I used vaseline on his eyebrows and have been using olive oil on his head.
  • DD had this as well....she had it both on her head and her eyebrows. Her pedi suggested head & shoulders every other day for her head and 1% hydrocortizone cream for her eyebrows. I was really scared to put the cream so close to her eyes but we tried it (carefully) and it worked. We're still trying to clear it up on her head though.
