Why is it thought of as acceptable to touch all over a strangers belly/baby/toddler but people seem to always ask before touching someone else's dog?? Really, WTF.

 

Yesterday I was at a ballgame with my DS age two. This older woman comes over and starts to "shake" his whole arm up and down violently almost. I thought she was going to rip off his arm! Very strange! My DS flipped out and yelled "STOP DOING THAT!" and yanked his arm back. I'm glad he did because I was about speechless at this point! Any one else have crazy stories like that? Tell me I'm not the only one! :P

    Dogs bite. But my toddler hits if you touch her without permission. Once a TSA agent tried to take away her sippy to test it. DD almost smacked her and then decided that since she was drinking it, it was probably safe. You think?
