XP - need help with new sleep issues

For the past few days/nights, DD will not go to sleep for anything. It takes us 1 - 2 hours to get her to sleep. She used to go to sleep in 15 minutes at night, but not anymore. She falls asleep while we're rocking her, but as soon as we put her in the crib she starts screaming (co-sleeping doesn't work for us). She doesn't have any signs of teething (no drooling, white bumps, etc.), and nothing else has changed. Is there anything else it could be, or anything we can do about it ?Also, we have tried every scenario as far as putting her to sleep when she's under tired, overtired or just right tired. Nothing changes. We also tried putting her down drowsy to teach her to fall asleep in the crib, but she screams even more when we do that.

How long after she falls asleep in your arms do you put her down? If she's in an "I need to be held to sleep" kind of mood, we have to hold her for about 15 min after she falls asleep before putting her down.

DS went through something like that around the same age.  It lasted for a week or two and then he went back to going to sleep easily.  DH and I took turns taking him so neither of us went crazy and we would either just sit next to the crib and try to get him to lay down and rub his back or let him chill in the crib until he cried and then go back and repeat about a million times.  He did cry but we were there so I was ok with it.  I assume it must have been developmental because motrin didn't help, but I really have no idea.
