YES!!! My ancient 5th grade teacher brought in one (with rags!) and tried to convince us that that was the only way they came. She didn't even talk about tampons.

An Etsy or HC vendor donated a dozen of them to the mamacloth drive.  They were interesting, to say the least. But most appropriate for the drive, IMO.
