I want to try and ask my DH nicely tonight if we can order a Moby, but here is my small issue, is this plus size chica gonna fit?  I just worry I won't have enough fabric and I don't want to drop my poor child.

I just googled this and here is what I found...

The good news is that many wraps and slings come in sizes appropriate for plus-size moms. For instance, the Moby Wrap is 18 feet long and will fit nearly everyone!

There is enough fabric to wrap it around your waist an extra time.  I have several friends who didn't wrap it that second time and it held their baby just fine.

Are there any stores in your area that sell wraps?  Maybe trying one out first would give you a better idea of what you are comfortable with.

It's 6 yards of fabric, it will most definitely fit! You can tie it in the back and it's just as secure. I say go for it!

The closest one is like 3 hours awayish.

I told DH I wanted one, and he is like, isn't baby carriers the things that babies die in?  It's like well if that is your argument, pretty much everything can possibly kill the child, I get you are worried and all since some baby carriers were recalled, but this was not one of them.
