Complete bed rest :(

No partial or rest when you can stuff anymore.  Complete bed rest.  I am allowed to get up to pee, eat, shower and move from my bedroom to the living room to lay on the couch.

No cooking , cleaning, laundry, picking up Kate...nada.

Oh man   That's so hard, and I can imagine it's going to be a big adjustment for your whole family. Sending hugs and thoughts and prayers that this helps, and that you're all able to adjust to your new normal.

We are working on that right now.   So far it's only for a week and luckily dh has Monday off already.  He's taking tomorrow off as well to help figure things out.  I have a friend who is coming to get Kate this afternoon and my mom is trying to figure things out to come over when she gets off work.

And my friend from my AP group locally is trying to get meals delivered.  I've also asked locally for help with Kate.

This sucks but it needs to happen.  I need to get better and so far nothing is helping.  This is the worst my back has ever been.

When my step mom was dealing with her spinal fusion, she had immense pain lying down. I hope you get some relief.

Thank you.  My worst pain is when standing or sitting up for too long.  The worst is when I'm on my feet at all.  But back pain impacts everyone differently...I think that is part of what makes it so hard to treat.

What levels did she your step-mom have fused?

Boy, so I wish I lived closer...like on the same continent, even.  I'll be sending positive thoughts and prayers your way.  I can only imagine how tough this will be for you and I hope things get better as soon as possible.
