Update on my mom!
Thank you again for all of the positive thoughts, prayers and nestie dust. That is some powerful stuff!
We just got the good news that my mom is out of surgery and that it went very well. The surgeon is confident that they got it all. Also, they took out 5 nodes to test and they came back negative. Whew!
She will be in recovery and then is heading home later today. Next up is radiation therapy which will start in a few weeks.
It was definitely a tough morning waiting it out, and feeling helpless that I am so far away. But you ladies helped me get through it!
I would like to especially thank MC who was kind enough to stir up some dramaz to keep me occupied. Words cannot even express...
Seriously though, you ladies rock! Thanks again!
