**Mrs.N.H.**

I forgot to respond to your progesterone post the other day but was just wondering how it was going/what you decided to go with.  I'm in the same boat...I stopped BC mid-April and am currently on CD 77 and couldn't get an appt. with my gyno until 7/21 but I'm thinking she might suggest the same thing.

Re: **Mrs.N.H.**

  • I've decided to go with the pill after talking to my doctor. I've been taking it for 2 days and so far so good...no side effects and more important no craziness.

My temps look like post ovulation temps, so I assume my body thinks I just ovulated the first day I took the pill and it will "reset" by the time I stop taking them.

For what I've read online I'm almost positive that the doctor will prescribe you Progesterone...so if you don't wanna wait you might wanna try the cream (or see if you can get the Provera without a prescription...I've heard that you can).

ETA...If you decide to get the pills (and can get them) at least talk to the pharmacist or call your doctor about it. I hate taking pills 'cause all the side effects and for me they did blood work...so be sure you are safe if you decide to take them.

  • Thanks, Normailed!  How long do you take the pills for?  I think I'm just going to wait to until my appoitment to see what the doctor says.  We're not TTC so I'm not too concerned with not having my period, it's just kind of annoying to not know what's going on.
