Britax Frontier Question

Am I correct in that it does NOT convert to a backless booster, like the Nautilus does?  Any reason that would be a con for the Frontier?  I am thinking it is about time to move DD out of her Marathon and am trying to figure out what the very last seat I will need should be.  TIA for any help!

Good question!  I have been thinking about this as well because we are getting ready to give up on the infant seat and I think C will just use Rory's seat she has now.

It does not convert to a backless booster.  I guess the only con of that is it is heavier and harder to carry.

The one I have does NOT convert to the backless booster. I figure by the time she needs just a booster, Reid can have the frontier and I will just get the booster. I am going to switch them as soon as we are done with swimming!

I don't think it converts to a backless booster, but like MrsStubbs, I will give the Frontier to DD, and get him a booster. I am getting a Nautilus for our second car.

This is a good idea...the backless boosters are so inexpensive, it's not as big of a deal!  Thank you!

That's what I've heard. I've also heard that by the time a child has outgrown the high back booster, they're probably tall enough that they don't need a booster at all. A backless booster is only $25-30 anyway.
