possibly dumb question about OS diapers

when you have the diaper snapped on the smaller size snaps, do you fold the excess snaps/fabric up behind the waistband or down towards the crotch area?

does this question even make sense???

I honestly don't know how it lies...I just snap it and didn't even think about how the fabric folded. I don't think it makes a difference.

i think it might not matter if the baby is bigger, but its creating a lot of bulk on my new kid...not sure if there is a better way to do it or not.

We still have our OS on the smallest setting and the extra fabric goes up towards the waistband because that's just the direction it goes when I stuff them. 

What kind of dipes are you using?

The inner gusset makes RARs really bulky. I don't think you are doing anything wrong
