Swim class

I forgot to post this weekend about Mallory's first swim class last Saturday.  She loved it.  She must have remembered how much she enjoyed swimming last time we went because when she saw the pool she started wiggling and kicking excitedly.  The class was fun.  DH and I both got in the pool.  The kids in the class were older mostly which seemed odd to me -- mostly in the three year old range.  One baby that was younger then Mally.  She did great.  We practiced kicking, blowing bubbles, splashing, singing songs, and even going under water.  We were hesitant to put her under.  Especially when the three year olds were all coming up crying.  She didn't mind one bit though!  She just blinked the water out of her long eyelashes and went on splashing.  So much fun.  Can't wait to go back again on Saturday!

Sounds like so much fun.  I look forward to taking DS to swim class next summer.

Oh my gosh how fun!  I want to get DS into a swim class but don't have time right now.  Maybe I'll look into one for the end of the summer.  I know he'd love it!
