QOTD: What new purchases are you making for #2?

We have been given a second crib (score!), so we're covered there.  The PnP that DD slept in for the first six months of her life is too large to fit in our new master bedroom, though, so I will be getting a mini-cosleeper for #2 (figure this will save us some space in the bed, too).  We'll be getting a double stroller and a new carseat.  #2 will get DD's infant seat and we'll get a convertible carseat for DD.  We already have a playmat (it's pink, but if #2 is a boy he can deal), bouncer, swing and jumper, so I don't think we'll need any more gear.  And all our newborn clothes are GN, so we probably won't need much of that.

I had my first OB appointment today!  Baby looked great and was moving around all over the place!  They moved my due date up to Jan 8th.  The baby was measuring Jan 14, but they want to go off of my LMP.

Purchases for #2:  DD's stroller is the Peg Perego Skate and I just found out that they are making a jumper seat for it.  I'd like to buy that, as well as the BOB Duallie.  Other than that, we need a crib, mattress, dresser, and another camera for the monitor.  I wouldn't mind having a chair and a half upholstered glider, but we'll see.  We are good on diapers, but will need clothes if #2 is a boy.

We'll probably get a double stroller somewhere down the line, but at the beginning I'll probably just wear LO#2 and push DS in the single stroller when we go out.  I want to get a new bouncy seat because I don't really like the one we have.  We'll just keep LO#2 in the PNP in our room (we're living with my parents now), and next summer when we move back into our house, we'll get DS a toddler bed and put LO in the crib, which will save us from having to buy a second crib.  

The biggest thing we'll need is a van!  We're trying to find a way to pull off a miracle, since the whole reason we moved in with my parents was to pay down debt.  We don't want to buy a van and be right where we started when we moved in with my parents by this time next year.

QOTD - The largest purchase will be the crib and dresser...we are doing another convertible crib.  Other purchases will be hamper, some room decor (firetruck theme), some more crib sheets, protector for under carseat, bundle me, nothing else really big.

I don't think we'll purchase another crib as we'll keep LO in a bassinet right beside the bed for a few months and by then DD will be in a big girl bed (although right now I can't even fanthom DD not sleeping in our room). We'll need another set of drawers. DD is already in a convertible car seat so the infant carrier is avaliable. I won't buy a double stroller for a while...I'll just wear LO while DD rides. However, everything we own is pink (except the swing and travel system) because I knew DD was a girl from the moment I found out I was pregnant. So we'll have to work on getting gender neutral clothes if need be.

Well today we are going to buy the new nursery furniture, yay!  We already bought a Graco Quattro Double stroller to use in the stores and I have been trying to buy a double BOB off of craigslist (if only they wouldn't sell so fast darn it!).  Other then that, we'll just have to buy some new clothes if it's a boy.

A basinette and a double stroller. The plan is for the baby to sleep in the basinette for a few months and then we can hopefully transition Cora into the bed and move the baby into the crib. I'm looking at the Chicco double stroller since we have the Chicco carrier.

Oh I am also  going to need a new car. I have a toyota corrola which I love and is almost paid off but I need a bigger car with room for 2 carseats and a double stroller. I am looking at the GMC Envoy and Acadia.

Totally forgot about the car - we need one too!  Our old one didn't have enough room for two car seats in the back ...

We need nothing if our baby is a girl. I mean NOTHING. Since moving I am in shock about how much stuff I have for Mari. If baby is a boy.....we need to start over on clothes.....darn

Our car will work for two. We have a doubles stroller. And, new baby will be in the PnP for six months. Once new baby moves to the crib Mari is getting her own bed.

We are getting a new crib from my parents and we'll be purchasing either a second PNP or something similar for traveling and if Jelly is a girl we'll definitely need girl clothes!

Sooo late cause I keep forgetting!! Number one- A new car (SUV). Then, a double stroller, a bassinett. The dresser that we have is so large now, Brooke only uses one side, so we are going to uses the other side for baby #2. And I have to see if its a boy, then I will be needing boy clothes, etc...
