Mason arrived at 37w2d monday morning at 10:29! He was 6lbs and 7.7oz and 20 in long! He is just perfect in every way!!!

Girls, being high risk isn't fun and it's not easy.....but you all CAN do it!! Bedrest blows but it works!!! I have a little miracle b/c of it!!!

I'm 39 and pregnant for the second time in 19 years of marriage. We lost our other baby on Jan. 5th, 2010 at 18 weeks 5 days along. He was perfect, but I have an incompetent cervix, so I dialated, he kicked his foot out and broke my water and then just fell out 5 days later.  He was alive right until the end.  I am now 12 weeks along and have a cerclage scheduled for July the 19th with a high-risk specialist.  Vaginal sex is out.........and even me having an orgasim can be risky.[great] I'm on 2400mg. of ibuprofin to keep my short cervix from softening and thinning.  I have high-blood pressure and am on meds for that!  I'm on almost-bed-rest and I have 6 months to go! Though it's unlikely I'll make it full-term, but as long as we get to 32 weeks, I'll be more than happy!!!  I've been waiting for this baby for nearly 20 years!  No, I haven't had any intervention-fertility help......... it just happened the normal way!  So I'm so glad to hear your success story!
