Vitex and PCOS...???

I was dx with pcos about 2 weeks ago and before i resort to "traditional" meds, I want to try vitex aka chasteberry but I just dont know when I should start taking it.

I am on week 2 of AF so should i start it now, wait till I finish AF, or wait till my next cycle? Any info, please share! Thanks
