Can anyone recommend one? I would particularly love an OB who is friendly toward NFP. I haven't lived here too long so I don't really know where to begin to find a good OB. Thanks!
I work at Central Baptist in the OR and I LOVE the OB's here! I personally recommend Dr. Parrot, Dr. Owen, Dr. Youkilis, and if you prefer a female Dr. Wells, or Dr. Fusion. Hope this helps some...I will be going to Dr. Parrot. He is a super nice guy and I would feel completely comfortable using him! Good Luck!

Have you tried the dr's at Lex. Women's Health? It's a team of all female drs (including Dr. Fuson), so you won't have a male on-call at the time of delivery. They have 2 midwives (my personal preference), 2 ARNP's, and 3 OB/Gyn's. They can deliver at St. Joe's East or Central Baptist.
If you're high-risk, Dr. Barry Campbell is the high-risk guru in Lex. And if you want a home birth (since we don't have Birthing Centers here), go to www.Baby-Moon.org and you can find a lot of great CNM's and CPM's listed there, as well as highly recommended OB's. If you do go the route of home birth, might I recommend either Karen Brown or Sarah Hood. Both are awesome, though Sarah is very quiet until you get to know her.
I delivered DS at Central Baptist and my OB was Emily Cunningham-LOVED her!!!!! Dr Fuson delivered DS and she was really great too. I have heard nothing but great things about the other docs at that practice. I'm hoping to go back with my next (delivering at UK this time, and no, I can't recommend any of the docs )

Dr John Greene is awesome Unfortunately i moved to Simpsonville so he is no longer my doctor. He was very gentle and very warm and kind. If i still lived in Lex would go to him in a heartbeat. Not sure the name of practice anymore but is over in the richmond rd manowar area

I go to Dr. Olsen Parrott with Central Baptist. I LOVE HIM and all his staff. I would reccommend him.
