Rash from solids

Anyone else experience this? I'm getting nervous b/c he's just on cereal. If he can't handle rice cereal I am worried he won't be able to handle veggies.

ER 7/14/12 6R 5F, ET 7/17 3 embies, beta #1 7/26: 147, beta #2 7/28: 326, beta#3 7/30: 422...ugh, beta#4 7/31: 607...hopeful, beta #5 8/2: 1280, beta #6 8/7: 7184 and u/s shows 1 possibly 2 sacs! 8/14 2 beautiful heartbeats! 9/24 we are TEAM BLUE!!!!!

    Just asking...are you sure the rash is from the cereal?

    no new detergents or perfume on you or any thing else new?  Does your pedi have a nurse line?  Ours does.  If it does you might give them a call and in the meantime no cereal for a few days then I would try again to see if the same rash appears.

    yep we had started for a month and then had to stop b/c he wasn't drinking enough. Just started back up again and the rash is back.

    We go to the ped tomorrow for his 6 month checkup so I will see what she says. I am hoping she doesn't tell me to stop the cereal b/c he really loves it and has no other problems but the rash.

    What about other foods?  Have you given your LO anything else.  Go for something easier to digest like avocado or banana.  Was it a wheat cereal?

    Make sure the rice doesn't have any hidden wheat ingredients (even tho I suspect it does not).  My boy had a reaction to oatmeal when I didn't realize it had wheat.
