Do you mean HSG? Mine really wasn't too bad. Take 3 advil about 45 minutes before. The procedure is really quick so if you have any pain it will be over very fast. GL!

A HSC is a hysteroscopy. It's basically a d&c without the scraping, and a biopsy of uterine tissue thrown in for fun. The dialate the cervix and insert the scope. If they find any scarring from my previous surgeries, they will remove it, but what they are really looking for is swelling, infection or inflamation.
I had that one too when they removed the polyp they found during the HSG. The worst part was the IV. It was only about a 30 minute procedure and I had a little bit of cramping as I first woke up, but it was gone by the time I was fully awake. I took a percocet because I was afraid I was going to be in pain, but I really didn't need it and it just made nauseous. I was back at work the next day and had no cramping and just a little spotting. I hope it goes well for you!

Thank you for explaining! I'll be thinking about you! (((hugs)))
Will they knock you out like they do for a D&C?
Yeah. I have the option of being awake, but that sounds awful.
No thank you, pass the drugs! I can't imagine being awake for that and possibly hearing noises or listen to them talk during the procedure... I think I would over analyze every word they said.
Again, I'll thinking about you!

Good luck, I hope you get some sort of answers. It's totally understandable that you'd have an "ugh" attitude about it by now.
