another q about cd cover sizes/quantities - help?

okay, i thought i was all set for a few months, at least.  but a friend gave me a few covers (they gave up on CDing after 3 months ), so now i have:

- 1 prorap xs (6-10 lb)

- 2 thirsties wraps xs (6-14 lb)

- 4 thirsties duo size 1 wraps (6-15 lb - they say 18, but everyone says they run small)

- 3 thirsties wraps s (12-20 lb)

the size 2 duo's are 15-40 lb. 

i'm thinking i should exchange maybe 2 of the size 1 duos for size 2's instead, since i expect to only use 4-5 of the xs/size1's?  and we have 3 smalls. 

any reason why i might prefer the duos over the regular wraps?  

am i just totally overthinking this?  ugh.

the prorap will be nice b/c you can use it right away - doesn't it have the cord notch?

what i would do if i were you...i would sell all the thirsties XS and S covers (i sold mine for $8 including shipping - it was in excellent condition, no staining, snags, etc) on diaperswappers.  then buy size 2 duos (on sale at abby's lane right now + 5% off coupon code + free ship no minimum)...or hang onto 1 thirsties XS if you really want to have a total of 6 covers to use in the beginning (5 is fine IMO).... the duos are preferable over the sized thirsties wraps b/c (a) they have better resale value b/c they are newer and (b) you need fewer total covers since they are 2-sizes-fit-all

i agree that the duo size 1 is small...miss A is 15lbs now and barely squeezes into her size 1 at this point.  we have to use the size 2 if i want to put a more bulky goodmama on her, but the PF still fits fine in a size 1.

i guess i feel guilty selling the thirsties xs and s since she gave them to me for free    but that does sound sensible...

is she going to be around and seeing LO in diapers? i would probably not say anything to her about it but if she brings it up i would say something like "thank you sooooo much for giving me the cloth diaper covers you weren't using. i wish i had known before i went out and bought some.  but, since i had already bought several smaller sized covers, i was able to sell the ones you gave me and get the next size up!"  i dunno, maybe that would be awkward but i wouldn't have a problem telling that to my friend b/c hopefully in the end she'd know that helped me out, even if it was indirectly

i don't think she'll see LO that often - and when she does, i imagine s/he will have at least a onesie on, so <nodding> I think i'll do this.  thanks Jaime
