feel like a put a tampon in wrong!

Inside my vagina for the past two days, it feels tight and like the first time i ever used a tampon. I keep getting sharp pains in there too, they are inconsistent, but when they come, they hurt! Could this be a sign of effacing or dilation or labor???

This just started for me today. Sharp, shooting pains in the crotch that happen randomly.

I had someone tell me it's a sign of dilation. Who knows? Some people say it's just the babies position.

Stick out tongue I wish I knew too!

LOL, what a funny way to describe it! Yet, I know exactly what you are experiencing. I'm thinking it is "lightning crotch". Like a severe shooting pain that comes and goes?

I get them randomly, but am not dilated. Only 50% effaced.

I think I get the feeling you are trying to describe. I'm only at 34 weeks, but I've had this in the past week or so, on and off. I attributed it to the baby's position...I think I've already dropped a bit. For me, this sensation is a bit different than "lightning crotch." I've had that, too, but this is different and a bit more subtle - it is like I only partially inserted a tampon. As if the tampon was falling out a bit? Like that annoying feeling. Not sure if it is the same one you're feeling.
