Add this one to the books. We are headed to Canada at the end of July and via email my MIL told DH not to worry about entertaining me while we are all there for a family vacation because she and SIL would take me (I'll be 20 weeks) on lots of hikes. Last time I checked, stairs took the breath out of me. Not sure about you guys, but hiking doesn't sound like an activity I plan to do while preggers.
Re: Things my MIL says
I went on a short hike when I was 30 weeks pregnant and I thought I was going to die. And I walked everyday on the treadmill on an incline of 7 for 30 minutes while I was pregnant. So, I am with you.
Don't give up hope yet. I think around 22 weeks was when I got a surge of energy and I was doing all kinds of things. So maybe you will get the energy and the hikes will actually be a good time??
I think my middle name should be Grace - as in unGraceful. I almost fell yesterday while tripping on my own feet.
I really do hope to get that energy I hear about. Right now I look forward to my evening naps after dinner. (yes. I puffy heart naps).
This hike is out the lighhouse when the tide is out - so it's rocky and little hilly. I don't think it is anything too major but I have my doubts on how I would do considering my asthma is exercise induced.
