Babies: 6 - 9 Months

Sleep schedule?

What is your LO's sleep schedule at night time?

my DS:

8-8:30pm we put him to bed

between 12am-2am he wakes up and we feed him

between 5am-7am am he wakes up for the day. If he wakes up at 5 I try to get him to go back to sleep.

Also if your LO wakes up at night still, do you feed them or just put them back to bed?

Re: Sleep schedule?

  • 7 to 7:30 bedtime routine

7:30 to 8 we put her in bed

6:30 she wakes up and I nurse her.

I let her fuss for 10 minutes, then I soothe her. But, she always falls back asleep by then.

  • This is our crap-tastic schedule LOL

    8pm bedtime

    12 midnight-ish -- wake up to nurse

3am-ish - wake up to nurse

6am-ish -- wake up to nurse

7:30am-ish -- up for the day

I don't know if the feedings are necessary, but she nurses for a good 20 minutes and goes right back to sleep...so I go with it for now.  But, I am starting to get pretty tired!!

  • Leighton goes to bed at 8 and gets up between 5:30 and 6:30...she doesn't get up any to eat

DD goes to be between 630-730pm.  She usually gets up once anywhere between 1230 and 330 and then up for the day around 6-630am.  If she doesn't wake during the night for a feeding, she will wake up for the day anywhere between 530 and 630.  DD goes down awake for bedtime and knows how to put herself back to sleep.  If she wakes up and is actually crying and not just fussing, I feed her.  If she's fussing, I leave her for a bit to see if she will go back to sleep.

  • 8-8:30pm: Brody goes down for the night

2-2:30am: (like clockwork) Brody wakes up, realizes he's on his belly and screams bloody murder. I put him back onto his side, turn his seahorse back on, replace the paci and he's usually asleep within minutes. We have a few rough nights where he does this 3-4 times, but we never feed him. We've tried CIO, but there are some nights it just doesn't work.

6:45am: Brody gets woken up to be dressed and fed for day care He normally sleeps until 8am on the weekends (when we don't wake him up) but this past weekend he was up at 6:30am both days, ready to go!

  • Jaiden sleeps from around 8:30 - 6am like clockwork. If he does wake up during the night, he just needs his paci and he goes right back to sleep, but that's rare. He's probably only done that maybe 5 times total in like 3 months.
  • 7pm bedtime- last feeding, last bottle between 6-630, bath (every other night), diaper change, into pj's, story time, bed.

5-530 wakey- if she doesn't wake on her own, which she usually does, I wake her around 530 M-F

she does occasionally still wake in the middle of the night for a bottle (we try binky first but if she wakes, she's usually hungry so will get a bottle but goes right back down), but more than not she's STTN these days
