Sunblock question

Which one do you use?  Do you have any problems with it running down LO's face?  I have both the Aveeno and California Baby brands.  I tried both this weekend and once I took DD in the pool and she'd splash her face, it would start to run down her face.  Anyone else find this happen?  Is it because it's not soaked into her skin yet? TIA.

We've just been using the Coppertone Water Babies (we got a small one as a gift), but once that's gone I plan on buying the Aveeno baby or the Nutrogena Pure and Free, since I know it's supposed to be better for baby.

I don't put sunscreen on her face. She wears a hat and I make sure her face is shaded at all times.

We use california babies and haven't had that problem. I do let it soak/dry before we get him in water, though.

I'm not sure what brand we used at the beach (I know it had zinc oxide), but we had no problems with it running into her eyes, and it was HOT there.

I'm thinking it didn't have time to soak in. We put sunblock on DD at least 30 min. before taking her out in the sun.

we also put it on 30 minutes before.. havent had problems yet
