Try straining the peas after you puree them.  It removes all the skins that don't get blended!

So, steam the peas......blend them....then strain?  What do you strain them with?

Yes, steam them (they took longer than I expected), puree them with some water and then strain with a mesh strainer:

LO loves peas now after a really funny reaction the first time.  I think he had pea skins in his mouth for a week(not quite JK)!!
