Are we in the right direction?

Well DD went pee pee on the potty 5 times yesterday. I was siked. But she would go when I would say" come on Olivia, let's go potty". I would go on the toilet (TMI) lol and she would sit on her potty and pee. Is this going in the right direction even though she's not telling me to go? thanks

Good question.  I am starting to experience the same thing.  Kayla goes to the potty if I say "Kayla, come and pee/poop on the potty".  However, she does not go on her own.  I am hoping we are going in the right direction, because I want to start the 3 day PT technique on Friday.

I'd say you're heading in the right direction. She seems to be associating peeing/releasing with sitting on the potty, which is an important step GL!

Sounds like you are doing great!

We did the fast method. Friday she was in diapers and Saturday they were all gone.  We have not gone back to diapers at all.  There are accidents but we just clean it up and move on.

sounds good to me.  We too got rid of diaperso n Friday and haven't looked back.  Yesterday was a pretty good day with only 2 accidents.  Not too hard to clean up and move on.  My DD however is a bit stubborn at times and doesn't want to try to go before we leave the house so unfortunetly that is when the accidents happened.
