Financing for IVF

My DH and I are turning to IVF for treatment.  Any suggestions for financing options for the procedures?

First of all, I want to say, I'm sorry you have to go through this.  I have gone through 2 cycles of it.  And I'm now pregnant!  :-)

The option that we did was take out money towards our 401k and we are repaying it out of our check. 

 I know some people that have taken out a personal loan for the amount.  I know there are a couple of companies out there that have loans for IVF - I think Capital One is one of the companies.

Congratulations.  It is so nice to hear success stories.  I got some information from my specialist and need to look closer at that.  I was thinking maybe there would be some more options out there, but there does not seem to be.  Nothing like making this harder than it already is.  We are seeing Dr. in Grand Rapids.  Dr. Young.  Who did you see?

That's exactly who we saw!  We love the office and everyone there!  Both Doctor's are wonderful, Dr. Dodds and Dr. Young.  Amy, the IVF coordinator is the best too!  

I wish you all the luck and I hope it works for you.  Good luck on deciding what to do with finances.  It took us a little while to decide what to do too.  It is a large sum of money to deal with, but it is all worth it!

We love it there too.  We have been seeing them for about 4 months and have nothing but great things to say about them and their office!
