If you are thinking about asking to join this group?please read:
This is an Advanced TTTC group those who have been trying 3+ years and/or have multiple failed IUI?s /IVFs, etc. I just ask that everyone please use good judgment when asking to join...in other words, if you are still in the IUI stage or have been on this journey less than two years, this is probably not the group for you.
There is no doubt that this whole TTTC process is painful, but I also do believe that there is a very special kind of support that this specific group can offer to each other, and it is intended as a "safe haven" for those of us who are in that bottom 1% of the bottom 1%.
Thank you!
Re: Advanced TTTC check-in
QOTD: To be honest the only thing I can think of is we just support each other. My DH has been my rock through all of this. There are definitely days that are worse than others but for the most part we some how find a way to stay optimistic.
Update: Nothing to update and I feel like I won't for awhile. We have a phone consult next week that I am looking forward to.
GL today Monty!
Update: FET was on Saturday. It went very well. Our own RE surprised us at the last minute and showed up to do the transfer (the other RE called in sick). We were so happy to see him!
QOTD: How do you and your DH keep each other optimistic (or at least, not pessimistic)? It seems like I'm always the pessimistic (I like to think of it as realistic) and DH is always the cheerleader. So much so that sometimes it annoys me! Lol He does always manage to make me feel better and often reminds me that this is all in God's hands, not ours.
Update: CD35 and no AF - so I'm waiting from a call back from the clinic to find out what they want to do. I reminded them that provera didn't do anything last time, so hopefully we don't go down that road again.
QOTD: It's tough - I'm usually such a pessimist. We're determined to be parents - so that is what we focus on.
GL Monty.
Update: Nothing new. This long break feels longer every day.
QOTD: We try to talk about the future in a positive way. For instance, we always say "when we have a baby", "when our child does such and such". I think this keeps us thinking that it will happen.
update - still waiting for the evil red whore to show up! come on AF!
QOTD: I am annoyingly positive and optimistic and DH can be more pessimistic but ultimately we both know we will do whatever we can to be parents. When one of us is having a bad we pick each other up. We also like to take little get-a-ways to get out of our space.
Worrying does not empty tomorrow of its troubles, It empties today of its strength. ~Corrie ten Boom
Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I'll try again tomorrow. ~Mary Anne Radmacher (thank you beadinglady)
It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

Converted IVF - BFP - m/c | FET - BFN | IVF #2 = BFN
