when to contact ob?

I was very blessed and got BFP right away on the 1st try when TTC my LOs.  Well im now 34 days into my cycle (normally 28 on the nose even after the LOs came) i took 2 test with FMU and both negative.

How long should i wait for my period before i make an appointment with the gyn?

Re: when to contact ob?

  • I'd probably wait another week or two before getting concerned.

  • I had something similar before DD was conceived and my doctor wouldn't see people at all until it was at least 60 days but I'd call and ask in a week or so and see what they say.

  • I'd wait another 2 or 3 weeks or maybe wait until I had other symptoms besides a missed period.

  • I'd wait until 60 days of no periods/BFN before calling the OB. Postpartum it's common to skip a month. Unless you're charting, know when you ovulated and your temps are still up, I'd hold off. You probably just ovulated late this month.

This.  My cycles have been out of whack since having Mason.  I agree, you probably just ovulated late.

  • Before I got pregnant with DD, my OB wouldn't see me until I had missed 2 periods. Every Dr is different though so if you are worried call and find out.
