Do you think I can ....

Go to the beach by myself with baby and my 5 year old? My son does love to swim so that would be a challange. I was thinking of getting the lightweight stroller going close to the water letting older ds play and be right next to baby in the stroller. Hmmmmmm any input would be great. Or any other ideas for a super hot day and an older kid home from school.

  • personally i wouldn't attempt the beach on my own, but only you know how or if it would work.. does your DS like to run off a lot? that would be my main concern, if he takes off deep into the water and leaving you with the baby on the beach

do you have a kiddie pool you could put up for him to swim today? or a sprinkler?

you could also take them to the library, or an indoor play place

  • Um...I wouldn't. We just took DD to the beach with the IL's, and it was a full-time job watching just her.

How about an inflatable pool for your yard, like this? That's at Wal Mart, by the way. They also have some more expensive ones with slides and stuff, if you have the money.

Well staying home today isnt an option they are ripping up my driveway to get pavers and its jack hammer central. So I literally have to be out all day unless I want to hear this noise. That why I figured the beach cause it basically is an all day affair.
