Do you give your LO the same food a few days in a row before trying something else or did you stop that once your LO went through the first foods?

We still haven't introduced more than 1 new food in a 3-4 day period. I also don't like giving him mixed foods unless he's had all or all but one of the foods in it, just in case he is allergic to something and I need to pinpoint what it is.
