Anyone still EBF and TTC?

My little guy is 6 months and we're ready for number two but AF hasn't come back yet!  I'm considering weaning for this reason but I have a guilty complex about it.

Anyone else in the same boat?  Looking for advice on how to get things "started".

I was in the same boat, but as soon as DD started increasing her solids AF showed up around 7 1/2-8 months.  I still EBF.

I read somewhere that if AF doesn't show, it could be a sign that your boday not ready for another baby...since your baby is still taking in so much breastmilk. I kind of agree with that (although I'm beginning to think about #2 and DS is also 6 mos). Are you still nursing during the night? I've heard that sometimes just an 8hr break from BFing can bring AF back.

He's always STTN so I've not nursed through the night for about 4 months.  We started to increase the amount of solids now so I'm hoping that this encourages AF to return.

i am right there with you!  DD has STTN for almost 3 months now and still no AF. it will happen when my body is ready.

I'm feeling SO anxious about this too! I just completely weened DD for 4 days now. But had stopped pumping and was just BFing at night for almost 2 wks.

I'm having cramps but no AF yet. 

I had never heard that (about if AF hasn't showed it could be a sign your body is not ready for a 2nd)..I guess that makes me feel a little better! 

We are just trying to have a baby between June-July next year and we need to get started..ugh, I think I need to stop thinking about it!
