Day 3 was a flop!!!

So I worked so hard with DD the past 3days of potty training and I don't think she got it.  We had our ups and down and still she has not been able to tell me she had to go potty all day.  I was able tocatchher and brin her to the potty where she would finish, but today we had more accidents than the yesterday.  Should I just keep at it, should I go back to diapers....any suggestions.  Has the 3 day method not worked for any of you, what did you end up doing???
