Drooling, crankiness, fingers in the mouth were the first signs. We gave her baby tylenol, orajel or hylands teething tablets, frozen wash cloths, frozen teething rings and we also would put ice cubes in her mesh feeder and she really liked that.
Excessive drooling, crankiness/fussiness, refusing the bottle even though she's screaming for food.... we use hyland's teething tablets, and give her cold and/or hard things to gnaw on... her favourite chew toy seems to be my house key carboner, and the mini-flashlight I have attached to it....
Same as PP's, but DD started all of this 3 months ago and still not one tooth. I'm going to have to find some of the Hyland's. Where do you buy it?
BTW, all of you guys' pictures are super-adorable!
The teething process takes a loooooooooooooooong time.... Evelyn started "teething" at two months old, and it wasn't too bad, for the most part... it's when she started refusing bottles that we knew a tooth was going to pop in the next few weeks, which is when we pulled out the teething tablets. Otherwise, she was okay with just chewing on stuff.
You can buy the teething tablets almost anywhere... walmart, target, some grocery stores... Zellers, if you're Canadian. They're not hard to find!
