So, we told some of the family last night. It was SO obvious when I wasn't drinking or smoking. We actually left early last night because I was tired and plus they set up a few hookah bars where we were outside. Well, osme of the reactions we got were, "ohhhh...well, congrats."   Gee, thanks.

Anyway, we went to tell my parents today before they found out because one of my big mouth cousins or something.

All I said was well, we have some news for you.. you have another grandbaby coming around March. My mom was shocked and my dad said he thinks it's too early. Um, it's been a year. Then he goes on to say that we better save up now because just in case something happens again. ( meaning funeral, which he had to help pay for last time. Sorry, I was out of work for awhile being on bedrest and all. My bad to inconvienece you eventhough you are basically a millionaire)

I am so hurt right now. I got up and told DH we are leaving and walked out. DH was mad but just said to calm down. I can't believe this. Why can't anyone ever be happy for us. This was basically the same reaction I got when I was pg with Mary. wth people? I am married, have our own place, never ask for money, and take care of my sshit.

I am just so sad. Do people not see how much this can hurt me? You all tell me not to stress but then pull this on me. I already have a fear that something can go wrong..I don't need this sshit.

The only thing that is making me happy today is knowing this little person is inside me and we are going to prove them all wrong. I took another test today since the digital went blank. That was one dark line. The test line came up before the control line!! lol! Oh, and Mags GREAT news.

Oh honey I am so sorry.  Nobody should ever have a reaction like that to a new baby!  Especially after all you guys have been through.  ((hugs))  Some people just really don't know when to turn on their filter.

The only appropriate reaction to the news of a new child is "congrats".  If you have other feelings, keep them to yourselves!!!

I'm sorry sweetie. I'll come and throat punch all of them for you! I'm afraid people will tell us that it's too soon. We're not telling IRL people until after my first appointment, because we both have the fear that something will go wrong.

it does help. that's why I come here.... I can't post anything on FB because not a lot of people know yet. And I don't want to call my sisters because (well, one) usually ticks me off and will probably side with them. My mom was hurt because I was leaving and DH was saying to calm down. My dad told him to just leave me alone because nobody can ever tell me anything. wtf dad? NOBODY should ever say that. I told him he was being a f*ckin jerk and walked out.

I felt the same way when we were announcing we were pregnant this last m/c. EVERYONE & their mother commented that it was "really soon" after the last one. ugggghhhh.
