I think their ready. My pedi said I could start my LO on both 1 and 2 stage foods. But he is really relaxed on when to introduce foods expect for dairy. So go figure! She has survived with no injuries so far.
Yep, the consistency is the same as stage 1 but the containers are bigger and cost the same as stage 1.

This is what the doctor told me, too. She told me to just buy stage 2 because it would be cheaper.
