I let my mom (& the bump haha) scare me enough into going in last night.  My blood pressure was high all day, and resting didn't really seem to help it.  They kept me for two hours in observation and of course it went down while I was there!  It was 141/96 when I got there and 129/75 when I left.  My normal is pretty low (usually around 100/60) so that was still high for me, but not enough for them to keep me I guess since I didn't have any other signs of pre-e.  When they checked it while I was sitting up it would go up, but if I laid on my side it would go back down.  So now I'm on bedrest until my appointment Thursday.

How will this baby ever come out if I'm not allowed to walk??  Now I feel like I'll definitely have to be induced.

No protein in my urine, which is good.  And I'm up to 3cm now.  I'm ready for this ride to end!!

OMG!  I'm glad to hear you and G are OK, but I can't believe that you're on bed rest all week.  Boo! 

Maybe I'm being a bit dense (it's not out of the ordinary these days!) but how do you know that your blood pressure is high?  The only time I know mine is when they check it I'm at the doctor's office.

Yay for 3 cm dilation!

hang in there girlie, you never know what your body will do! hopefully you will not be induced and things will happen naturally. get some rest and take care of yourself!

I was induced, and at first did not want it, but ya know it was not that bad really....Hang in there girlie!! Your LO will be here before you know it!!!

I saw your post on 3rd Tri yesterday and was wondering how things turned out.  I'm glad that you are ok.  Keep in mind that if you are stressed about your blood pressure that you can actually make it go up.  Just rest this week and take care of yourself.  You are almost done.

Glad to hear that you and the LO are okay.  Bedrest, eh, maybe you could do some baby moving dancing instead, cause you are techincally in bed to help move things along.

I also would like to know how you knew your BP was high. I don't have anywhere around me to measure mine.

Gavin will come out regardless of whether you're up and about or on bedrest. Especially if your body is already trying to evict him! I'll be sending Labor Dust your way!
