Would this be weird / creepy!?!

My DH's coworkers daughter had a baby 2 days ago.  I've met her once a couple years ago.  She is a doula and really wanted to have a natural birth, however it didn't go according to plan (does it ever!?!). 

We actually ended up having very similar births - wanted natural, in labor with no meds for over 17 hours, fully dilated, baby was stuck / facing the wrong way, no progression on the babies part, ended up with c-section.

I remember how much of a failure I felt like after this happened to me and how incredibly disappointed I was that everything ended up being opposite of what I wanted / planned for.  

Ever since my DH told me all of this I've really felt like I want to contact her.  The only way I could really do so is via facebook though.  After DS was born and I was struggling with bfing and my emotions about the birth it really helped me to talk to someone who went through the same thing.  Would it be weird for me to contact her?  I don't really know what kind of support she has (I know her mom is awesome) and I would really like to reach out to her.  I'm just worried that she could possibly be offended (maybe she doesn't feel the way I felt...) or she would just think I was weird / creepy!!!

Anyways, any advice would be great!  Thanks.

ETA: I am not facebook friends with her but would still send a message via fb.

2 days pp I still didn't know which way was up. You and I have had very similar birth experiences...and very similar experiences re:failure too. 

I was in a fog for the first few weeks...maybe giver her some time?

Thanks - I should have mentioned that I was definitely not going to contact her right now.   The first few weeks were definitely a blur, so I thought I'd wait a while.  It's just on my mind now!

I would probably contact her and say something like "I know we don't know each other very well, but I really connected with some of the things that happened during your labour...."
