Does your LO "talk" a lot?

DD babbles sometimes, but not a lot.  She was doing it for a while, but then stopped talking so much.  She still babbles, but it's definatly not as much as before  Ped said that her 3 double ear infections could cause some delay, but I worry...I always worry. If there is nothing to worry about, I find something. Isn't motherhood great?

    Haha, aw, don't worry yourself.

DS will go on a babbling spree for a few days and we couldn't get him to be quiet if we wanted to, and then he'll stop for a bit, too.

I'm sure it's normal, and probably also depends on their mood. If he's grumpy and teething, for example, he's not going to happily sing "Ba ba ba" all day :)

  • Georgia babbles, coos, squawks & talks pretty much NON stop LOL

Try not to worry....but I know what it's like to always having something to worry about :-)

  • If Evelyn's in a good mood, she won't shut up. If she's tired, she's a very somber lil girl.
  • Is LO w/ you all day or in daycare?  I would check w/ daycare or whoever takes care of LO if it's not you.  DS hasn't been talking lately and I was concerned....well, his teachers at "school" told me that he doesn't shut up ALL DAY.  Mystery solved...he likes to talk to his little friends and not us.
