Confession...I put the bumper back on

Cole has just started crawling and sitting up on his own and now he likes to play for a while in bed before he falls asleep...which means he was constantly banging his head on the crib. Poor guy! I just couldn't take it anymore. He's past the stage of suffocating in the bumper, right???

    We put ours on too. Ryan kept moving up in his crib and bumping his head, waking up and crying.

    I bought a breathable bumper to ease this fear!

    I don't get why this is a confession. How can a mobile 8-month-old suffocate in a bumper?!

    We have the bumper in our crib - he'd be banging the heck out of his head all the time if we didn't! It makes his bed so much more comfortable for him.
