Last night We were at a church group and a friend asked us about DS's recent photo shoot. The others were interested to hear about it, especially as the owners of the company it was for are members of our church.

I was in the middle of telling about the experience we had when someone interrupted with "you know so&so's baby has done some photo shoots too. She was on the cover of Parenting Magazine."

I didn't get to finish my story and I was pissed off. I told myself it was because they stole DS's thunder, but the truth is DS doesn't care. It took attention that I wanted. And I feel petty and immature but still pissed off.

Honestly, I'd be pissed off, too. That wasn't nice of them to interrupt your story, plus you were giving a business reference for other members of the church.
