anyone NOT like going out with the LO?

because it's kind of a hassle at this age.

I took him to the mall today and he cried most of the time and just wanted to be held.  I feel bad for him because his teeth still haven't come in yet and he's not used to the overstimulating environment but still...taking him places is just not enjoyable for me.

which sucks

cuz i want to take him places but scheduling nap, feedings, etc. no bueno

I like going out with my sweet girl but every once in a while; it is nice to go without her!  It is so much more work going with her.

I can't compare since my DS is a social butterfly and loves being out in public, but maybe you should try to get him out more in social settings while he's awake to get him used to it. It may end up being more enjoyable for the 2 of you in the long run. It may take some adjusting but with time he'd probably get used to it/enjoy it.

We've been going out with Tegan since she was a week old. She loves going places and is very well adjusted to being on the go. However, there are times where I wish DH and I could just get up and go without the hassle of getting Tegan ready, making sure we have what we need and strapping her in and out of the carseat.

I don't like going on long car trips with her solo (long being like, more than 20 minutes) because if she fusses there's nothing I can do to help her.

Other than that, I love taking her out. I enjoy showing off my gorgeous baby!

ETA- Sometimes when she's home and won't nap, the best thing for her is to go out. If she doesn't fall asleep in the car, that stroller gets her every time.

yes! just today i took her to the mall....she loves to be out,and is happy the entire time.....but she always falls asleep on the car ride home.  even if it is a 10 minute ride.  and then refuses to nap. 

it is the timing part that makes me crazy.  between naps, after she is fed, before she poops........::sigh::

I love taking her out.  Love showing her new places and she just loves the air.  But with that said, shes very happy anytime we are in public, very, very rarely cries and smiles at everyone.  If she cried all the time and was miserable, i would feel the same way you do.
