I noticed in the post below that you live in South Florida.  I don't live there anymore, but I'm from there and I understand hating everything about it - we did too! 

Anyway, you mentioned that you don't know a lot of people.  Have you ever checked out the South Florida local bump board?  It's a fantastic board with a lot of wonderful women.  They do a lot of get togethers.  Just a thought!

    My pleasure :) A lot of them were my friends from the knot and we are now IRL friends.  They are one of the few things I miss about being down there!
