S/O where you live...anyone from Casper, WY?

if you saw my previous post. we are considering relocating to Wyoming. Casper to be exact. If you're from the area, what do you think?

    I grew up there.  We moved back to TX though a long time ago!  It's beautiful & you can go do anything you want in regards to nature.  It has grown so much since I moved away like 10 years ago.  So it's a big city now! 

    Pros: The worst wind you will EVER encounter!  The winters you can get used to, but it's windy EVERYDAY!  Not just a breeze, but a$$ chapping, hurry give me a carmex (Sp?) bath right now, windy!!!

    I live here.  Love Wyoming but not so much Casper.  The wind is out of this world, beautiful in the summer.  Why are you thinking about Casper? Wyoming is a great place to raise a family.  If you decide to move here look me up.

    we are considering moving b/c of a job offer and so i can quit working and be a SAHM.

    Is it just the wind you don't like or is there more things your not fond of? Any pros?

    Pros: just to list a few...

    Quality of life.  Life is slower paced here. You can drive a half an hour and not see any civilation if you so choose.  

    Schools are great!  Teachers are great! 

    Lots of outdoor activities. Nature is amazing around here.

    Safe.  We have a little crime but not much.  

    Close to Denver.  We are only a 4 hour drive away so you can get a city fix.

    Cool people like me! LOL

    Seriously, if you can handle the weather you might like it here. I sent you a PM.
