Best overnight diapers?

DD has now woken up soaked and crying at 4am every night this week. Obviously Pampers Swaddlers are no longer doing the trick overnight. We use Seventh Generation diapers during the day (I hate the new Drymax diapers and their chemical smell), but they really don't cut it at night. Any advice on tried and tested overnight diapers? DD is now a stomach sleeper (despite us putting her down on her back), which I think is why she is wetting through the diapers. She is also just now transitioning to size 2 diapers (she is a little peanut). Thanks!

Re: Best overnight diapers?

  • We use Pampers baby dry and haven't had a problem.  Max STTN and sleeps on his tummy and has not leaked since we started using these diapers.

We've used the Pamper BabyDry (the 12 hour ones, no DryMax) and the Fisher Price nighttime ones with no problem.  We still change him most nights at 4am because he's decided that's a great time to have a bowel movement.  =(

  • We use the Pampers Baby Dry and make sure they are on snugly (for the belly sleepers) and they are awesome!

  • I love the huggies over nights but we go up a size...

Also, we just switched back to cloth, and I love the fuzzibunz brand with an extra soaker folded in half where he needs it.

  • Our Baby Dry's never leak.  They come off weighing a ton in the morning, but I have yet to have to wash sheets because of a leak with either of the boys.  And I don't even go up a size.
  • we go up a size overnight, I've tried a few brands (I had samples in a size three) and none have leaked.

  • I don't rec. 'Huggies Snug and Dry'  DD sleeps on her back and side and we have leaks.  I'm trying to get through them ASAP.
  • We just go up a size at night since DS is a stomach sleeper.

  • Up&Up (Target brand).  Also size 2s, DD is pretty tiny too.  DD STTN (sometimes on her tummy, sometimes on her back, she rolls around a lot) and these have never leaked for us.

  • Huggies Overnights---you can buy them at diapers.com in size 3 (the smallest they make). In the store I could only find size 4.  We were using Pampers Baby Dry before and they leaked for us. Since Huggies Overnights we haven't had a problem.

  • I also use the Huggies Overnights in a size 3. She's now wearing a size 3 during the day, but I buy Huggies Cruisers or the Up and Up brand for during the day.
