We just started feeding solids in the past few weeks. I'm making our baby food and usually look at the website Wholesome Babyfoods to get ideas. I bought carrots yesterday to make and then read on the site that they recommend waiting until 7 months for carrots due to nitrates. On another page, it says the chance of nitrates causing a problem from carrots is 0.
Have you fed your little one carrots or did you at 6 months or before? Has anyone had any talk with their pedi about this?
I'm leaning towards making and feeding the carrots but just wondered what you all have done.
