If you or DC have curly hair...

I need product help.

I just got several inches cut off my hair so it'll curl easier.  It's so nice to wash and go in the summer.  I've just been using K's products (Garnier fructis hair spray gel and sometimes their mouse) on my hair so I need recommendations.

TIA!

  • My family and I all have curly hair and we have used Tresemme Flawless Curls extra hold Mousse for years and it works great. I just put it in after I get I get out of the shower and let it air dry and it don't get frizzy or have that crunchy feeling or stinky feeling.

  • For my curly days, I use a combo of Aveda's Be Curly and Phomollient (one, other or both, but if I only had one, I'd choose Be Curly). Great smell and I feel like they keep the waves in my (extremely thick, coarse hair) whereas other products just weigh it down and make it feel dirty. They don't make it frizzy, either, which is my natural state.

  • I have thick unruly curly hair. I mostly wear it in a ponytail so I'm quite jealous of you!

My current favorite product that I am using after the shower with my hair wet to give it some "boost" with it's curl and to make it soft and smell nice as well is this.

  • I haven't used anything for M yet.  I usually can just spray a little detangler in her hair and the curls look fine.
  • Britt- I only add product on special occasions. lol DH calls me a pageant mom when I do. And good call MW. I remember punk uses some kind of bed head. I'll ask her.
